Stahl Gasiorowski, P.C. proudly announces that Partner Laura K. Gasiorowski has been elected Secretary of the NJ Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Laura has dedicated her career to defending individuals in criminal investigations and prosecutions. The Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers of New Jersey (ACDL-NJ) is the preeminent legal organization, representing the interests of New Jersey’s criminal defense bar. Established in 1985, the ACDL-NJ is the largest criminal defense lawyers’ organization in the state of New Jersey, with over 500 members from 21 counties. The organization is affiliated with the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL). Members of the ACDL-NJ are experienced criminal practitioners who offer guidance and mentoring to other criminal defense attorneys.
“The ACDL-NJ was formed, among other reasons, to respond to the continuing problems confronting criminal defense lawyers when they honestly, ethically, but zealously represent their clients; to protect and insure compliance with those individual rights guaranteed by the New Jersey and United States Constitutions; and to encourage cooperation among criminal defense lawyers engaged in the furtherance of those objectives.”
The ACDL-NJ also helps criminal defense attorneys improve their practice through CLE seminars, networking opportunities, and support. The organization also acts as amicus curiae in New Jersey appellate courts on behalf of its clients and the criminal defense bar.
Laura Gasiorowski has been an honored member of the NJ Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, and has served as a Trustee of the association, as well as on the Lawyer’s Assistance Committee which advocates for members in state and federal court, and on the Federal Practice Committee, which lends legal assistance, legal research, counsel, and support in any Court.
