New Jersey Corruption
NJ Assemblyman John Bramnick’s Committee Investigates Official Corruption in Garden State
Reeling from the news of New Jersey’s biggest FBI official corruption sting in history, in August 2009 a New Jersey Assembly committee launched hearings on public corruption in the Garden State. Included among the 46 persons arrested and charged in “Operation Bid Rig III,” were rabbis, municipal officials and developers.
Attorney Robert G. Stahl, whose law offices have represented hundreds of defendants including white-collar defendants, testified with dual insights: as a result of his current defense practice and experience as an award-winning federal prosecutor in the District of New Jersey.
A week after the Assembly Republican committee hearing Mr. Stahl joined Bramnick and the publisher of the weekly newspaper whose coverage area includes his Westfield, New Jersey office in a further discussion of official corruption in New Jersey.
